Enjoy a leisurely scenic chauffeur driven ride    to Vineyards of Connecticut

Two tours are offered in this package; the Western Trail and the Eastern Trail. Each tour includes 8 hours of service with stops at 3 different wineries. At each stop, you will have approximately one hour to tour the wineries and to sample their fine wines. The cost for each of these tours includes a gratuity for your friendly and professional chauffeur.  So sit back, relax and enjoy...

 Haight-Brown Vineyard-Litchfield, CT       In 1978, the State Legislature passed a Farm Winery Act and Haight Vineyard became Connecticut's first established winery.  The Tasting Room includes a custom built wine bar for tasting each of the eleven vintages, guided by the knowledge of educated and friendly staff, a terrace for sipping wine in lazy summer days, and a stone fireplace for lingering during chilly winter ones.                                                        

Hopkins Vineyard - New Preston, CT       Visit Connecticut's first winery-established wine bar at Hopkins Vineyard. Located in the Hayloft of it's 19th Century barn, the Wine Bar features a casual atmosphere of charming cafe tables with a stunning view of Lake Waramaug. They are dedicated to growing vitis vinifera grapes: Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir as well as better European-American grapes. Their wines are intensely rich and complex with a quality you can only achieve from perfectly-managed vineyards.                                                 

 Jones Winery - Shelton, Ct  .   For a tasting fee of $5, people can enjoy sampling six of the winery's distinctive wines and receive a complimentary Jones Winery wine glass. Visitors can also browse the winery's specialty gift store, full of unique and holiday items. The Jones Winery is located at the heart of a beautiful 400-acre farm. When visiting the winery, people can also harvest seasonal crops – the finest and freshest strawberries, blueberries, pumpkins, squashes and Christmas trees. From the beautiful views to the excellent wines, from the delicious foods to the great harvest-your-own crops, a visit to the Jones Winery and Jones Family Farms is a truly memorable experience.

Priam Vineyards, Colchester, Ct    Priam Vineyards' 40 acre farm has 25 acres of grapes in production, with a breathtaking 35 mile view of the New England countryside. Priam Vineyards has won numerous International wine competition medals in their first few years as a winery. Of the thirteen wines produced, each has been awarded at least one if not several international medals. These wines are produced in the style of Northern France and Germany.

Chamard Winery, Clinton, CT      Chamard's classic New England styled winery features finely crafted stonework using field stones from the property and wooden beams milled from trees cut from property. A blend of time-honored wine making techniques and state of the art winery equipment are used to create world class wines. The main focus at Charmard is on Chardonnay, the most noble white wine grape variety in the world and the best variety that grows in the region. The vineyards spread across 40 acres of gently sloping fields along the southern Connecticut coast, just two miles from Long Island Sound. The 20 acres of established vines include the varieties Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Jonathan Edwards, North Stonington, CT    Aside from the spectacular panoramic views including the Connecticut shoreline, Jonathan Edwards winery situated on nearly 50 pastoral acres truly maintains the vintage New England character. Complete with fireplace and a custom built wine bar, the tasting room evokes the mixed spirit of Napa Valley within Connecticut farm country. The winery also features a retail gift shop, a deck overlooking the vineyards and patio made of stones dug from their own fields.
